This maintenance oil is ideal for maintaining your oak tray. With daily use of the tray, the wood may start to look duller or small spots may appear if water is left on it for too long. Treating the tray with this grape seed oil from AVA bowls on a regular basis will keep the tray protected and looking nice again. The grape seed oil is 100% natural, approved for food contact and leaves no odor or taste.

To keep the oak tray in excellent condition, we recommend cleaning and treating the tray regularly. Below are our tips for the best results:

Avoid contact with water as much as possible. Your four-legged friend is bound to spill water while drinking, but make sure it doesn’t stay there too long to avoid stains or cracks;
Clean the tray regularly. Tip: Squeeze half a lemon on the tray and sprinkle with sea salt. Leave this on for 15 minutes. This combination kills bacteria and absorbs unwanted odor and stains. Clean with a wet cloth and then dry thoroughly;
Next, oil the tray with a natural oil approved for food contact to keep the tray in good condition. AVA bowls’ maintenance oil is excellent for this purpose! To do this, use a dry cloth or a piece of kitchen roll and rub the oil into the wood. Let the oil soak in well and the tray is ready to use again. Our advice is to treat the tray every 2 months for best results.

Returns

Please note that returned products must be in original condition and returned in their original packaging. AVA bowls will refund the cost of the returned product, provided the above conditions are met, but is not responsible for the cost of the return shipment. Also when cancelling your order, AVA bowls will refund the cost of the returned product, but any shipping costs will be borne by the buyer.
